Constructive Witticism is a writing group for those local to the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area. We meet every couple of weeks usually with coffee, donuts, and some inspiration and drive to write.
Peer review is so important to becoming the best writer you can be! This is a group of like-minded, brilliant writers who want to get better at their craft and find the time, motivation, and accountability to write more often than real life typically allows.

'We connect the dots in our heads' and sometimes those dots miss the page...."
Group Goals:
- Finding designated time to write/work on personal ventures
- Get feedback on ongoing or completed projects
- Get inspiration to work on new things or revive old ones
- Network with people who may have connections or know of opportunities in the community like internships, part time work, freelance, groups/seminars, etc.
- Providing a safe, focused space to work on your writing
You can keep up with planned meetings and join the community on our Facebook page.
We help one another stay motivated and accountable for the goals we set for ourselves, further solidifying the importance of having a community of writers to fall back on. We are a diverse mixture of genres, spanning historical fiction, fantasy, murder mystery, nonfiction, and poetry. There are no required commitments and all experience levels are welcome. |
