About Me

writer/poet
I write because I am compelled. My life has gone in many directions but I always come back to writing. It turns out I'm rather good at it, according to the awards and recognition I've received (see below) and I will be forever grateful for every opportunity to pursue my art.

Though I began (as most children do) with fantasy novels, I've since found myself reading gritty, real world fiction, nonfiction essays, dystopian fiction novels, murder mysteries, and genres that challenge the ideas of form and what we have always known storytelling to be. Of course, there will always be a soft spot in my heart for fantasy and sci fi novels.

I am a graduate of the 2021 Denver Publishing Institute with a certificate in Book Publishing, and of the University of Idaho with a double emphasis in English Literature and Professional Writing. I currently live in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, with my family.
I also offer freelance editing services for a variety of projects.
You can find me at
 Crystalline Editing Services.
When I'm not working or spending time with my family, I love to read and write and often relax by challenging myself with a new knitting or embroidery pattern.
