I'm always in search of a good book, asking everyone I know for recommendations, and paying close attention to reading assigned in my college courses as well.
Though I began (as most children do) with fantasy novels, I've since found myself reading gritty, real world fiction, nonfiction essays, dystopian fiction novels, murder mysteries, and genres that challenge the ideas of form and what we have always known storytelling to be. Of course there will always be a soft spot in my heart for fantasy and sci fi novels. Below are my thoughts on some of the great books I've read, which I recommend to anyone who is also perpetually in search of a good book. |
